It is proposed to fill up following posts on contractual basis for a project under national manpower development scheme of National Mental Health Programme (NMHP). The eligible and interested candidates fulfilling the following POSTS:

01.Professor (Psychiatry): 01 post

Pay Scale: Rs.60,000/-

02. Associate Professor (Psychiatry): 01 post

Essential Qualification: For Sl No. 1 to 9 i) MBBS degree from a recognized University/ Institution (ii) PG degree in the concerned specialty from a recognized University/ Institution / MCI or equivalent recognized DNB qualification awarded by N.B.E.
Essential Experience: For Associate Professor- 5 years as Tutor/ Demonstrator/ Senior Resident / Register / Lecture after the requisite PG out of which at least 2 years as Assistant Professor. For Assistant Professor (Sl.No. 4-9) - 3 years experience in the concerned specialty as Lecturer / Tutor / Demonstrator/ Senior Resident after the requisite PG degree.
GENERAL CONDITIONS

1. Candidates who do not fulfill requirement of advertisement need not apply. (2) All Medical Qualifications should be recognized under MCI (3) Based on actual requirement of the Institute, the number of posts may vary. (4) Allowances will be as per Central Government rates as adopted by this Institute from time to time and NPA will be admissible in case of Medical Posts only (5) Candidates working is State/Central Govt. / PSU/Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel or submit “No objection certificate” (6) In case of deputation, vigilance clearance/ integrity certificate from parent department will be required. (7) Appointments in case of direct recruitment will be on probation for 2 (two) years (8) Relaxation in upper age limit will be applicable in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Govt. norms. (9) Incomplete application or applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected. (10) The application is to accompany with a Bank Draft of Rs. 100/- to be drawn in favour of the Director, LGBRIMH, Tezpur and attested copies of certificate/one PP size photograph so as to reach to the Administrative Officer, LGBRIMH, Tezpur-784001 latest by 29.01.2010. (10) Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
