Application are invited for the Project entitled “Examining the Barriers to Accessing HIV
Testing and Counseling Services among High Risk Populations in India – A Pilot Study”
funded under Global Fund on AIDS, TB & Malaria for the following posts:-
Post I: Research officer (2)
Job Description:
1. Determination of survey design and sample size.
2. Preparation of study tools and pilot testing.
3. Assist in designing training modules and conducting training of field Investigators.
4. Monitoring & Supervision of field work.
5. Collection of quantitative data. Conducting in-depth interviews and organizing focus group
discussions.
6. Assist in tabulation plan, data analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data and report
writing.
Qualification & Experience
Master degree in Sociology/Demography/Population Sciences/Public health/Social Work/Operational
Research/Statistics with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Age: Below 35 years
Duration: 6 months w.e.f. 1.3.2010
Place of posting: NACO, New Delhi
Remuneration: Rs. 20,000-25,000 based on qualification and experience.
