ICMR REQUIRES THE FALLOWING STAFF ON CONTRACT BASE

INSTITUTE OF CYTOLOGY AND PREVENTIVE ONCOLOGY  

I- 7, SECTOR-39, NOIDA (UP) WALK-IN-INTERVIEW(3rd,4th,5th March, 2010)

The posts are purely on contractual basis for duration of two to three years 

1. Scientist II (Medical) - One post 

Qualification: MD (Gynae) or MBBS with DGO or MBBS with 

2 - year experience in Gynae 

Desirable: Training or experience in colposcopy is preferable. 

Age: Not more than 40 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered) 

Pay. 25875+HRA+NPA on initial basic pay scale of  Rs. 10,000-15200 

2 Personal Asst. Cum Office Asst. - One post 

Qualification: Graduate with two years relevant experience 

Desirable: Persons conversant with M.S.office and medical terminology in a research setup. 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered) 

Pay: Rs. 13,455/- per month (fixed) 

3 Assistant Statistician - One Post 

Qualification: M.Sc. in Statistics or Biostatistics/ M. Sc in Mathematics or

operation research or computers with statistics and one year relevant experience. 

Desirable: Experience in medical research surveys and data handling with computer packages 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered) 

Pay: Rs. 13,455/- per month (Fixed)

4 Sociologist / Senior Counsellor (Female) - One Post 

Qualification: M.A in Sociology or social work with specialization in Medial or psychiatric social work 

Desirable: One year Experience in rural Cancer Screening Programme 

Age: Not more than 28 years 

Pay: Rs. 13,455/-per month (fixed) 

5 Social Worker / Counsellor -One Post 

Qualification: Graduate in Sociology or life Sciences with 2 year experience in field work. 

Desirable: M.A in Sociology or social work with specialization in Medical or psychiatric social work 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered 

Pay: Rs. 9,315/- per month (fixed) 

6 Research Asst. /Technical Assistant -One Post 

Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology / Life Science/ Biochemistry/ organic Chemistry. 

Desirable: Experience in Molecular Lab for HPV studies. 

Age: Not more than 28 years 

Pay: Rs. 10,355/- 

7 Statistical Assistant -One Post 

Qualification: Graduate in statistics or mathematics or computers with one year experience or M.Sc in statistics or Mathematics with statistics. 

Desirable: Knowledge in statistical packages and MS office in Medical data entry and processing 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered 

Pay: Rs. 10,350/- Per month (fixed) 

8 Lab Tech cum Technician -One Post 

Qualification: B. Sc. With life sciences or higher secondary with MLT and one year relevant experience in molecular / Path Lab. 

Desirable: Experience in HPV / Cytology Laboratory 

Age: Not more than 28 years (relaxation for experienced candidates can be considered 

Pay: Rs. 8,280/- per month (fixed) 

9 Community Field Worker (ANM) (Female) -Four Posts 

Qualification: Metric with ANM/LHV training or diploma in nursing or 

3 years work experience at some nursing home 

Desirable: Gynae related Experience in rural health setup. 

Age: Below 28 years 

Pay: Rs. 8,280/- per month (fixed) 

10. Female Nursing Assistant -One Post 

Qualification: 8th standard with nursing training /2 years Experience in nursing 

Desirable: Working experience in a clinical or field setup 

Age: Below 28 years 

Pay: Rs. 5,695/- per month (fixed) 

11. Attendant -Two Posts 

Qualification: Metric with one year relevant experience 

Desirable: Experience in medical laboratory or clinic or field 

Age: Below 28 Years 

Pay: Rs. 5,695/- per month (fixed) 

The appointment is terminable with one month notice from either side. The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments at ICPO. No benefit of provident fund, HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Women and Physically Handicapped persons as per Govt. Rules. For positions 1 to 4, lower positions may be considered if a suitable candidate is not available.
