In its endeavor to realize the vision of fulfilling the energy needs of India, IndianOil requires Boiler Operation Engineers for its Refineries at various locations across India. IndianOil intends to fill 3(three) existing vacancies & also fill likely vacancies that may arise during the year 2010.
- NAME OF POST: Boiler Operation Engineers
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Regular full time Engineering course from recognized Indian University / Institute) with Boiler Engineer’s Certificate (Ist Class Proficiency) issued by the State Boiler Authorities.
Experience:
One year post BOE experience in operation of large size Thermal Power Plant having Coal/Oil/Gas Fuelled Boiler
Age Limit:
· Upper age limit of 30 years as on 28th February 2010 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST & Ex -servicemen and 3 years for OBC
· Selection & Placement

· The selection methodology will comprise of Walk In Interviews - for assessment of different facets of Knowledge, Skill, Attitude and Aptitude. The selected candidates will have transferability of job on all-India basis and may be posted to any Division / Unit / Subsidiary Company / Office of the Corporation.

· Selected candidates will be placed on Basic Pay of Rs.23000/- in the scale of pay of Rs.23000-46500/- (provisional). Besides Basic Pay and industrial pattern of DA, the other allowances/ benefits include HRA / subsidized housing accommodation (depending upon place of posting & availability), Medical Facilities, Performance Related Pay, Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Employees Pension Scheme, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Tatkal Sahayata Yojana, Leave Travel Concession, Contributory Superannuation Benefit Fund Scheme, House Building Advance, Conveyance Advance / Maintenance Reimbursement, Professional Updation Allowance, Home Desk-Top PC, Children’s Education Allowance etc. as per rules. The Cost-to-Company (CTC) will be around Rs. 7.1 lakhs per annum inclusive of Performance related Pay (PRP).

· 1. The candidate must have an active e-mail ID which must be valid for at least six months as all future communication with candidates will take place only through e-mail.
· 2. The candidate should have the relevant documents/certificates pertaining to age, qualifying degree, Boiler proficiency, caste, experience etc.

· 1. Candidates meeting above prescribed eligibility criteria may visit our website www.iocl.com and apply online between 25th January, 2010 and 13th February, 2010.
· 2. After successfully applying/registering “Online”, the candidate must take a print-out of the filled-in Application Form, affix a recent passport size photograph, sign at the specified place and produce the same at the time of walk-in-Interview. Copies of certificates pertaining to age, qualification, Caste, Experience etc. must be attached along with the print out of online application form. Original certificates are also required to be brought at the time of walk-in-Interview for verification.
· 3. Walk in Interviews are likely to be held in February 2010. The exact date and place of interview will be intimated by e-mail.
