Walk in Interview for Recruitment to the Post of Senior/Junior Resident
Doctors on Regular Basis.
Applications are invited in the prescribed format for the under mentioned post’s of Senior/Junior
Residents, which are vacant and likely to be vacant on regular basis in Aruna Asaf Ali Government
Hospital.

2. The last date for submission of Application is 20.02.2010 upto 1:00 PM
3. ELIGIBILITY
For SR: MBBS with P.G. Degree in the concerned speciality from a Recognized University/Institution and
should be Registered with Delhi Medical Council.
Note: Candidate with Diploma will only be considered, if P.G. Degree Candidates are not available.
For JR: MBBS from recognized university, internship completion certificate, registered with Delhi Medical
Council. The candidate having completed compulsory rotatory internship before 20.02.2008 need not apply and if applied, will not be considered.
4. EMOLUMENTS
1). For SR, Rs. 15,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- plus usual allowance as admissible under the rules.
2). For JR, Rs. 15,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- plus usual allowances as admissible.
5. AGE LIMIT:
For SR: Below 35 years on 20st Feb. 2010. Relaxable for SC/ST by 05 years, and for OBC by 03 years (OBC
candidates are required to submit their caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of
Delhi).
For JR: Below 30 years on 20st Feb. 2010. Relaxable for SC/ST by 05 years, and for OBC by 03 years (OBC
candidates are required to submit their caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Govt. of NCT of
Delhi)
6. The service conditions will be regulated as per Rules laid down in Residency Scheme.
7. The posts are exclusively for Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital and are not transferable.
8. Hostel accommodation is available on first cum first serve basis. HRA will be admissible only if Hostel
accommodation is not made available.
9. The application for both Senior and Junior Residency duly completed along with attested photocopies of
certificates, i.e., 10th pass certificate (Date of Birth), mark sheet of MBBS (I, II & III Professional),
Attempt certificate, Internship Complete Certificate, DMC (Delhi Medical Council) registration, PG
Degree, Caste Certificate is case of reserved category, must reach the office of the Medical
Superintendent by 20-02-2010 upto 1:00 PM. The applications received after the prescribed date and
time due to any reason or incomplete will not be entertained. The list of eligible candidates will be
displayed on notice board for Junior and Senior Residents on the day of interview. Please note, no
intimation will be sent to any candidate separately for appearing in the interview.
10. A fee of Rs. 200/- for General/OBC Candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST Candidates in the form of Cash
Receipt from Accounts Branch, AAAGH, Delhi-54, must accompany the application form. However,
candidates applying form other states other than Delhi can pay fee in the form of DD valid for 6
months in favour of DDO, AAAGH
