UGC- SPECIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SAP)
The UGC has approved SAP scheme to the Department of Life Sciences,
University of Mumbai. The research project under SAP scheme is entitled
“Bioremediation and Phytoremediation of Industrial Wastes”. The research work on
Bioremediation and Phytoremediation will be carried out under the guidance of
Prof.M.H.Fulekar, Department of Life Sciences, University of Mumbai. The applications
are invited from eligible candidates for recruiting
Junior Research Fellows to work
under the research project for a period of five years under the UGC SAP scheme. The
candidates appointed will work with a salary of Rs. 12,000/- per month as per the UGC
rules.
The applicants should have M.Sc. Degree with minimum of 55% marks (5% relaxation
for reserved category candidates) having specialization in Biological science (Life
Sciences/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology/Environmental sciences)
recognized by UGC. The applicants should apply on a plain paper giving the following
details:

iv) Educational Qualifications
v) Experience in support of their claim
Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in the area of
Bioremediation and Phytoremediation.

of Mumbai, Santacruz (E), Mumbai -400 098. The last date for receipt of applications is
16th February 2010.The interview will be held on 25th February 2010 at 11am. In
